The American Football Coaches Association's Board of Trustees are expected to release its decision to support a 24-team playoff and the elimination of league title games, per @RossDellenger. The most-discussed 24-team CFP model includes an at-large bracket determined by CFP rankings, an automatic berth for the Group of Six leagues and first-round campus games for seeds 9-24.

My 17-year-old son is convinced that if he played the entirety of an NBA game he could "easily" score a point. I'm not convinced.
It leads me to wonder: What would be the easiest of the following feats as a regular person:
• Score a point in an NBA game
• Rush for a yard in the NFL
• Get a hit off an MLB pitcher

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Tanking is only in the spotlight this year because of the historic draft class we have. The current draft lottery system could definitely be updated slightly, especially picking top-5 or something in back-to-back years, but it doesn’t need a complete overhaul. Just change the odds of a team being allowed to receive a better draft pick year-after-year, and limit trades protections on picks to top 4 and lottery only. We do not need to have an 18-22 team lottery. That makes no sense whatsoever, nor does it prevent teams from still throwing in the towel on the season.
