Delivery fees going over 5$ for places 1 mile away helped (on top of the overall price being well over 2x self service)

Out of curiosity, I downloaded DoorDash on my phone. Holy crap! These prices are insane. Do the people who use this service not realize that everything is marked up —A TON— not even accounting for the delivery fee and tip? Comparing prices on doordash to the websites of the restaurants, I'm seeing markups as high as 20-30%. And that's not accounting for the fact that I can't use mobile coupons from the restaurant's app when ordering... And I never buy ANYTHING from a fast food restaurant without a coupon. Taking that into account, these prices are 50% to 100% higher. And you still have to pay a delivery fee and give a tip if you don't want someone to risk someone spitting in your food!!! I just don't get it.
