I'm NOT for making America Florida if it means making marginalized groups feel unwelcomed. I'm NOT for making America Florida if it means gutting our education system under the guise of CRT. I'm NOT for making America Florida if it means penalizing businesses for using their right to speak freely. I'm NOT for making America Florida if it means barely paying teachers a livable wage. I'm NOT for making America Florida if it means ridiculously lax gun laws. How about you?

@krassenstein @GCapital_LLC If his daughter has done this studying than certainly her opinion on the matter is probably well-grounded. But otherwise likely less-so. Ex - does the presidents (any president) spouse/children magically have innate abilities and knowledge of politics and diplomacy? Same same.

@krassenstein @GCapital_LLC Brian, being the child or spouse doesn't give you ANY inherent insight into that person. As a matter of fact, I find it more likely an outsider would know more about him than his family. He wrote and spoke prolifically and it's all available publicly. People study that.

Bernice King, MLK's daughter, replied: "What my father would be deeply concerned about is the harmful, discriminatory legislation in Florida." Regardless what you think about the NAACP's advisory, can anyone here honestly say that a white Texas Republican knows more about what MLK Jr. would think than his own daughter would? I'm fine with people claiming that the NAACP's advisory may be unwarranted for various reasons, but to pretend that Ted Cruz is a better judge of what MLK would think, than his own daughter, is simply perplexing. Thoughts?

Biden & Democrats vs. Republicans on Debt: If Republicans care about our National Debt let's see them make eliminating Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy a part of a compromise. - Extending the Trump tax cuts would add $3.5T to the deficit through 2033. If Democrats care about the National Debt, then at least consider holding those receiving government assistance to a higher standard.   - Improper welfare payments, including welfare fraud and welfare abuse, are estimated to be 15.2% of all federal welfare payments. They total $161 billion in 2021. Stop pretending that one side is to blame for the situation we are in and instead consider that it's an American problem.
