It is truly absurd that the Spurs are a +14.5 NET team in Wemby’s minutes. That is an all-time dominant number. Their defense performs like one of the very best *ever* when he’s on the court. His impact is extraordinary. One of the very best 3rd-year players ever.

I will continue to die on the hill that Chet is a better fundamental defender than Wemby in terms of positioning and defensive IQ but it all gets washed out because Wemby is 9 feet tall

if im being completely honest Wemby is already the best player in the league. he’s anchoring a -8 defense with maybe two other good defenders enabling all these multi guard lineups to thrive off his gravity. at this point his production almost doesnt even matter it’s just a bonus
