I've seen guys rake in BP. Bombs everywhere. I used to go out early and just watch guys hit, even as an opposing player. You can see a hitters approach by watching their BP. The best hitters I've ever played with hit line drives all over the place. Pujols, Beltre, Trout. Many others. They did hit some homers. Mostly in final BP rounds. Mainly they focused on hitting line drives up the middle. As @RealCJ10 says, " Hit the ball through the CF wall."
