@20HXD They’ve always been quite annoying and in my opinion flat out dumb. The work itself is fun and immersive, many solid works attract obnoxious fans just how it is. Gotta try not to let that affect how we view said series.

Just chatting. There are no similarities. There genuinely isn’t a webnovel you can compare to Malazan. They just haven’t hit that level and quite frankly I don’t think they ever will. If their upcoming authors are being inspired by LoTM, ORV, Shadow Slave etc etc

@blonkevnoci They do this thing where they will hop on any series that is critically acclaimed to be good/complex and they will read it and then compare. They did this with Hunter Hunter as well. Obviously some are just genuinely interest cuz they like fantasy or reading shoutout to them.

The only other shonen I put on the level of HxH is probably Chainsaw man Togashi and Fujimoto transcended the Shonen genre

@kizu_skip i agree but still id say you are kinda wrong in your judgement. it has powerscaling but i wouldnt call it a series just made for that. you should def give vol 1 a try and then decide. if you still dont like it then its fine, its just not for you.
