@rules_of_izzy @Streettough 1/2 can of Heinz Tomato Soup is 102 kcal.
My daily required calories to maintain the same weight is approx 2500kcal a day.
How on Earth can I live off meals consisting of 1/2 a can of soup and not be malnourished?
Make soup from scratch if you're worried about cost.

@avoiceforothers @HannahDCox ahhh that old journalistic tradition of revealing their source
English

@HannahDCox If you cant name your sources and are only capable of gossiping, insinuating, stay away from anything NEWS. You are in the wrong business. Its called gossip mongering.

@lawsbyana @esjesjesj The selfie paradox in full effect. We like taking selfies of ourselves but see it as inauthentic and a form of self-promotion in others.
English

@esjesjesj i genuinely dont understand why anyone would say anything other than this is cute, what is there to be negative about. 😵💫

@SHistorians Accountability is a fundamental moral value. Tiger needs to go away, be honest with himself and do all the necessary spiritual healing.
On Faldo, I don't disagree with him having that stance, someone has to be a villain. It just should have been kept in private.
English

Nick Faldo’s judgement on Tiger Woods:
Quotes from the Telegram article by James Corrigan.
Sir Nick Faldo: “Tiger Woods should not be welcomed back with open arms.”
The Englishman also believes that the 15-time major-winner should not be “welcomed back [to the sport] with open arms”.
Faldo is perturbed by the manner in which golf’s authorities responded – Augusta National sent out a similarly fawning statement after revealing Woods had withdrawn from next week’s Masters. The Englishman is concerned that, as in his previous scandals, the incident will ultimately be brushed under the carpet.
The Tour will look after him, as they always have done. But then you’ve got Jack [Nicklaus] saying it has tarnished the entire sport. There has to be some accountability. Forget about golf. We are not meant to be on the streets with two pills in our pocket.”
Faldo believes there should also be some sort of recrimination from within the sport.
“Our sport is based on discipline. You rule yourself, you police yourself. I would have thought the PGA Tour – behind closed doors – must be very disappointed that they pay Tiger tens of millions to be on the course and off the course with this business role he has got [as chairman of the player-driven Future Competitions Committee].
“He has only finished nine tournaments in the last five years, yet they feel he is the future on the golf course and the future in the decision-making and they must say… ‘oh boy, what do we get out of that?’ In the normal walk of life, there would be some accountability.”

@DrAstroZoom @BertAllenIII @EdKrassen To me there’s too many beats. It feels laboured.

@NemesisDivina5 @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK You need to prove that he’s lying and then deduce why.
It’s hard to take what you say seriously without proof.
English

@20_Houses @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK The Iranians know that Starmer is telling untruths.
Possibly the worst aspect of this is the reason that Starmer is lying. Local elections in May and he's desperate to retain the Muslim vote, despite them now voting for the Green Party.

We welcome the #UK’s stance of not joining the illegal aggression of the United States and the Israeli regime. We hope this decision will be fully upheld and implemented, and that, like other European countries, the UK will not allow the United States to use its territory to carry out attacks and killings of children in #Iran.
Mr Sharma@sharma_views
🚨 BREAKING: UK 🇬🇧 PM Keir Starmer gives sleepless nights to Trump REPORTER: Trump 🇺🇸 says US won’t back the UK anymore. How seriously do you take that threat? STARMER: Won’t change my position. I serve British national interest. Whatever the noise. UK FINALLY FOUND A SPINE 🔥
English

@20_Houses @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK And as just about everything Starmer says is a lie, why might anyone be surprised?
English

@NemesisDivina5 @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK Everything Starmer has said in public directly contradicts your claim that he is colluding with the US to wage an illegal war in Iran.
It's quite an accusation.
English

@20_Houses @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK With respect, you're unlikely to be told about it and why would the government end something they've agreed to?
It's really not surprising the US and Starmer are getting away with what they're doing.
English

@NemesisDivina5 @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK I'm not saying that you're thinking is wrong, you're right to question the role those aircraft play. It worries me that the US could be using our bases to commit illegal actions off of, but I'm yet to hear anything of it, and I'm sure the govt would end access if it was true.
English

@20_Houses @PaulWolfCO @Iran_in_UK The amusing thing is, I'm perfectly happy to agree that it's 'defensive' bombing of the Muslim terrorists.
English

@TheNewsAgents @lewis_goodall Too many people have closed up shop when it comes to questioning their own prejudices. It's frustrating. It smothers the chance for sensible debate.
English

@BintZakia @Iran_in_UK The videos of Iranian missiles hitting hotels in Dubai? How about the cluster bombs hitting Tel-Aviv?
Neither side is clean in this war.
English

@20_Houses @Iran_in_UK Iran is not Attacking its neighbors. Iran is Attacking American Military Basis, because Iran’s Missiles cannot reach America, so obviously they have to retaliate by attacking their basis in the gulf countries. Iran has every right for self defense.
English

@BintZakia @Iran_in_UK That doesn't mean UK bases were used for those attacks.
English

@20_Houses @Iran_in_UK Umm Universities, Infrastructure, Civilian areas, Heritage Sites, Schools etc etc are not Military basis. Remember there very first Attack Minab Girls School 165 Students killed. These are Evil, Cowardly Attacks by America and Israel and you cannot justify this.
