The groundswell of support for @JamTarts is growing rapidly. I was told in Glasgow and now in @UKHouseofLords many people outraged by events at Celtic Park on Saturday & increasingly on line including Gary Lineker & many other informed commentators. Some action must follow.

@The_Tman10 It is also a relevant point that no European football and early cup elimination helped re fitness

@JimWhite @Sjopinion10 @talkSPORT do we have any recognition at all that Simon was talking total nonsense yesterday when he said pitch invasions don’t happen in England, clubs get sanctioned & people arrested? Every year we see several of them and nothing he talks of happens

@mrewanmurray Agree with pretty much all of that - not caveat will be, let’s see what happens in the playoff finals. Any pitch invasion should be met with the same condemnation and the same sanctions

I have zero interest in the “abandonment” conversation. Celtic won the game and the league. I have plenty in the fact said game ended because of the antics of supporters. And how on earth we got to this point. Not good enough. theguardian.com/football/2026/…

@SPFLWatch Yes but a season long look at decisions might arrive at one conclusion - nobody was more hard done to than anybody else? Hearts not going 2 goals down at st Mirren plus the 3 key decisions in one game at Ibrox are just simply wiped out now in these discussions

Police Scotland are investigating potential assaults on Hearts players at Celtic Park. Tynecastle officials are calling for action from the Scottish football authorities. Unacceptable violence and hostility at the end of the Scottish Premiership season. edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football…

@henrywinter Think I might accept the rest but point 3 is laughable really. All Scottish teams are poorer than they were pre Covid, even since 2022

Ten reasons why Heart of Midlothian have already changed Scottish football for the better, whatever happens at Celtic Park today... 1) Interest levels risen at home and abroad. 2) Better competition. 3) Possible improvement in co-efficients with a strong Hearts heading into Europe. 4) Reminder of what can be done with shrewd recruitment (£300k net spend in summer window taking into account Penrice sale). Blend of data from the gem-finding geniuses of Jamestown Analytics and a good judge of players and inspiring man-manager in Derek McInnes. 5) Reminder of what can be done by fans – Foundation of Hearts (“Be Part Of The Disruption”) have 8,000 members/owners and have raised £20m for the club. 6) Big-hearted benefactors like James Anderson and Ann Budge, caring for their community. 7) Big-hearted initiatives like Hearts fans buying additional season tickets and donating them to kids at Dalry Primary School, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital charity and elsewhere. 8) Reminder of what can be achieved through togetherness within a club, within a squad and within a fanbase. 9) Reminder to others that the great Old Firm duopoly can be challenged. Believe. 10) Finally, what a song and Colin Chisholm’s stirring pre-match rendition. The talk of the toon are the boys in maroon. #Hearts

@ClydeSSB and well done Gordon Dalziel - Motherwell could now lose to Hibs and miss out on Europe. Same if they got a draw 😬

@talkSPORT @Sjopinion10 @JimWhite I thought the best team always wins the league? Or that the table doesn’t lie? Or that the decisions even themselves out over a season? The team that wins the league deserves to? Hearts have benefitted from questionable decisions

@pieandbov Also, from pretty much everyone, including Celtic fans, not sure why Falkirk are bothering to turn up at Tynecastle - apparently Hearts have those 3 points already ……

Appreciate that the destination of the title is "in Celtic's hands" as absolutely everyone in the media seems to be crowing about following the weekend, but it's also very much in Hearts hands too. Would anyone really be surprised to see Motherwell taking points off Celtic in midweek or Hearts going to Celtic Park on Saturday and getting a result? This is far from a done deal IMO. In this season of all seasons, expect the unexpected.

@SPFLWatch If @ScotlandSky & @spfl cannot see the commercial value in a moment like this then we really are stuffed. Actually outrageous, can you think of another major league that would not screen both?

Good to hear that Sky will show the goals from Motherwell vs Celtic on Wednesday night BUT really disappointing despite their 12 Sports Channels and 99 streams on Sky Sports+ they couldn’t show both games simultaneously. They have the rights to do so but just couldn’t be bothered to show them both.

@Hannahnaman @ClydeSSB do the guys not think that Mandron’s equaliser was initially a blow to Celtic but given the 4 quick goals it might end up being the trigger to a more lethal attack going forward? Stranger things & all that

@PeterMsport Let’s test the theory - should Mo Salah be first pick for Liverpool? What about Forrest for Celtic?

Anyone suggesting Callum McGregor should be dropped from the starting eleven at Celtic knows nothing about football. The best midfielder in Scotland, bar none! (I won’t be looking at comments for the abuse. All the best! 😜) #classispermanent
