@warriorslover4 You are right, but only for players with 3+ yrs of experience because their vet min cap hit = 2 year minimum which is $ 2.45M. It rarely happens but teams can save money by signing someone with less than 2 years nba experience to a min.

@213Clipset I don’t think they save anything from signing younger players. The cba has protections for older players where older vet mins don’t count fully against the cap so they aren’t discriminated against for financial purposes
