Yeah i don’t really have a preference on Watson. If they get him I’m fine with taking a swing, if they don’t get him it’s probably better long term tbh.

@mathomp_501 Wagler is going to need time to develop so let Mathurin start and get his scoring numbers while Wagler develops off the bench. Trade Mathurin at the deadline or over the summer when Wagler is more NBA ready. We also dont own our picks so need as much talent as possible.

@mathomp_501 I do. If only for the fact of keeping more young talent on the roster, letting them play this year and then if you need to move someone at least you can get something back for them instead of losing them. But I’d like to see Mathurin for a full season here and see what he can do.

I'd only be okay with losing Mathurin if it guaranteed us Watson. It'd be great to have both of them, but as long as we're not giving up too much of our flexibility to sign Mathurin as well. It'd be one hell of a way to kickstart a rebuild imo.

Very interesting roster. Should be really great offensively. Their 3 best players played only a combined 120 games last season. Obviously it all depends on Kessler. Anything from 3-8 in the West is on the table imo

I probably would have taken MBJ myself. But let’s see how he does in the half court vs nba teams first.

@mathomp_501 I don’t think Acuff was ever a realistic option- he didn’t fit with Garland and plays no D. It was really Wags or MBJ, and MBJ feels more ready NOW. That doesn’t mean Wags won’t be better over the long term.
