I spent nearly 5 years inside of a pediatric gender center. It is with that knowledge- seeing nearly 1500 unique “trans kids” that I must respectfully disagree with @benryanwriter. There is no “true trans” child. There are gender non-conforming children. There are proto gay children. There is no ‘true trans’ child.
