What is wrong with the NHS?! I got a warning letter saying I had 5days to book my colonoscopy on Fri, never had an original letter. I rang & rang Fri, no answer, left a message. Today(Mon)I get a letter saying I've been removed from the list coz I haven't contacted them. Wtf!! 😡

@GriftReport @IcelandFoods I had an Iceland delivery a couple of months ago and they came in bags. I hope they haven't stopped doing that now because Morrisons are the only other ones who do that.

The Iceland customer is a bit upset that their home delivery was delivered without carrier bags or paper bags. @IcelandFoods credit to iamsonya24 on TikTok

NHS hospital: I noticed the clock on the wall showed the wrong time. A nurse told me they knew, but they wouldn’t report it because replacing the battery through the NHS would cost £70. A £2 battery... £70. How? Why? That's when I began to dig further. 🧵

Would love to hear more on this from those who work closely with or for the NHS + other public services. I don't work for the NHS, but in a care home, so this is just what I have experienced/heard. Thanks for your comments.

All Iranians who entered Britain illegally should be securely detained, urgently. Not in hotels. Or HMOs. Or luxury flats. In detention facilities. Guarded detention facilities. Until deportation can be arranged. We cannot take the risk. The danger is too great.

I walk around every day now, with a ghastly sinking, sickening feeling in my gut. Knowing that tomorrow will bring another fresh dose of hell & lunacy from this catastrophic government. And I know that I, along with millions of others, will just stare at the daily announcements with barely-concealed disgust, bafflement & anger. As we appear to do every single day at the moment. 5 steps forward, 20 steps back. Every day. Something HAS to give. Something HAS to happen. Something HAS to change. Before everything is irrevocably & wilfully destroyed by these culturally, & fiscally ignorant vandals. (And, YES, of course I also equally blame the Tories for where we are…obviously…) But this government, in particular, just acts as if they absolutely loathe us. Rant over. For today…

Can I ask the Restorers and Reformers to call a bit of a truce and stop attacking each other for five minutes? You are, in truth, aligned on most of the things that actually matter to ordinary people in this country: tackling crime, confronting child abuse properly, defending biological reality, protecting British culture and heritage, reducing taxes and the size of the state, securing our food, farming and fishing industries, ending fraud and corruption, acting in the interests of our own people, stopping and reversing mass immigration, cleaning up our towns and cities, backing small businesses, tradies, nurses and care staff, creating real job opportunities, reducing debt, and bringing down fuel and food prices. Those are enormous areas of agreement. It is up to the parties themselves to explain how they plan to achieve these things. That’s the debate that matters. What doesn’t help is getting dragged into endless circular arguments about race or purity tests that only fracture people who broadly want the same direction of travel. Focus on the good stuff. Focus on the shared goals. The centre-right and the right need to start acting like grown-ups and realise we are all aiming in roughly the same direction, proudly waving the Union Flag alongside our local flags. Because the truth is this: if we cannot learn to unite around the fundamentals, I’m not convinced we’ve got very long left to sort this country out.
