No one in the race had managed to capture the imagination, the trust, and the support of the people because no one was talking about how they would fix the problems affecting us every day. It’s still early, but as we’ve shared our message across the state — in Altadena, Imperial Beach, Watsonville, Sacramento, San Diego and so many other communities — we’re finding so many people who agree: government needs to do better before asking hardworking people to pay more.
