@fliceverett If you knowingly know that you are going break the law by your actions, then consequences will inevitably happen and those concerned have no justification to think they are above the law irrespective of cause or actions. So, yes. The Judge was right to sentence those concerned.

@RobDance_ 100% totally agree with you 👍🏻 Would any of your employees pay a full wage for a tradesman or a company to do a job and they offered those reasons ? If I were in your position, (apart from a child taken ill or a medical appointment) Deduct pay, it will soon stop. 😜💰

Things I'm sick of hearing from my employees: - Can I leave early today - I'll be late in the morning - My child is sick, can I rush off - I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, is that okay - I'm going to be late back from lunch, I've got some things to sort I don't care.

@implausibleblog I took my unemployed Bruv for a beer recently. Sat at the bar talking about cost of living, a guy chipped in saying you want to try living on benefits. I asked why are you in a pub, beer at £5. My tax is paying for that beer. Guy replied, I pay tax on the beer. Can’t make it up.

@NoContextBrits You get what you pay for. Cheap & cheerful. Stowmarket Wetherspoons with a 30ft bar. 1 member of staff that has no idea who is next to be served. Avoid between 12 midday - 2pm because if you want a pint the OAP brigade will death stare you 🫣
