Broncos draft picks were so low this year, they basically snagged Waddle for a 2 and a 4 while making our other 4 a better 4 instead of a 5...

@PPRFantasyTips Tell us you don't understand the value of a 1st round pick then. It's not about contribution this year.. it's about a 5-year team friendly contract that can help the team in the next 5 years..

I seriously don’t get the “name a better player at that pick” argument when people talk about trading picks.
You’re not drafting a player for his standalone value in year 1. You’re drafting him for 4 years of cost control and, ideally, many more years of good football beyond that. The value is in the long-term asset, not just the immediate return.

Can't remember a trade being so loved/hated by fans. I personally love the trade because I think it's a bad one for Denver. Time will tell.

That 30th Overall pick isn’t anything special
Plus if they don’t think they can land Sadiq there, it probably doesn’t mean much to them

@NFL_Convo Depends on how you look at the Broncos. Do you view them as a long-term contender? If yes, this trade is horrible. If you view them as a win-now or bust franchise, then the trade is a win.
They'll learn that team-friendly contracts are worth more than veterans that cost a ton.

They didn't.
They basically used their first-round pick on Jaylen Waddle.
And there isn't a single WR — or maybe even player in general — they could've taken at No. 30 that would've been better than Waddle.
This is a fair deal.
