A few things on the Broncos acquiring Jaylen Waddle:
- We knew there were conversations about Waddle at the deadline last year. The interest has always been there.
- The Broncos have had their eye on a true route running WR, be it in the draft, free agency or trade. They get a good one.
- Waddle's YAC is outstanding and attacks the middle of the field.
- The Broncos really think Courtland Sutton is a damn good WR. So do others around the league.
- The Broncos are over the moon about this getting done.
- Denver is in a win now mindset with a rookie QB contract.
- This is a really good contract for a top WR. So you could say what Denver had to give up makes more sense. The 1 they gave up is at the end of the first. Another smart financial decision by George Paton.
