🟢🚨500 AI AND CHIP ETFS ARE ABOUT TO FLOOD THE MARKET!! Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas expects a fresh wave of launches targeting AI, semiconductors and memory chips, pushing the total tech ETF count past 500. The category has already pulled in over $100 billion this year, more inflows in twelve months than most sectors see in five. The appetite is getting more specific, not less. One recent memory-chip fund gathered close to $11 billion since launching in April, built on just 15 holdings tied to high-bandwidth memory names like SK Hynix, Samsung and Micron. Other new launches are slicing the theme even thinner, funds built entirely around photonics, optical networking, even the lasers connecting AI data centers.

🚨 SAMSUNG IS CIRCLING A €1B STAKE IN EUROPE'S BIGGEST AI HOPE!! The Financial Times reports Samsung is in talks to invest hundreds of millions of euros into Mistral, part of a raise that could value the French startup near €20 billion. This sits apart from Microsoft's own deal this week, which pours billions into Mistral's European infrastructure without taking new equity. The backdrop matters here. Washington restricted European access to a couple of Anthropic's models last month, and that alone turned AI independence from a talking point into an urgent priority across the continent. Mistral, a supplier to France's own military, has become the name Europe is racing to fund before someone else locks in the stake. Even at €20 billion, Mistral still trails its American rivals by a wide margin. But a chipmaker and a cloud giant both circling the same startup in the same week says the gap is closing faster than the valuation shows.

⚡ GALAXY IS FUNDING BITCOIN'S DEFENSE AGAINST QUANTUM COMPUTERS!! The firm launched a Quantum Readiness Initiative, putting up to $5M in developer grants toward building post-quantum cryptographic tools for the network. This isn't a response to something that's happened, it's insurance against something that will. Quantum computing breaking current encryption is a matter of when, not if, and Bitcoin's entire security model rests on cryptography that could eventually become vulnerable.

⚡ DATA CENTERS ARE ON TRACK TO CONSUME 20% OF ALL US ELECTRICITY BY 2035!! Demand climbs from under 6% of consumption today to nearly 194 gigawatts, a curve that stays flat for over a decade before exploding straight up starting around 2025. Look at the shape of that chart. This isn't gradual growth, it's an almost vertical line for the back half of the decade, with PJM, Ercot and MISO all racing to build grid capacity that doesn't exist yet. The AI buildout isn't just a capital story anymore, it's becoming an energy crisis in slow motion. Whoever controls power generation controls the next decade of compute.

🟢🟢 EVERYTHING'S GREEN TODAY, SEMIS LEADING! BTC in the mid-$66Ks. ETH near $1,925. Nasdaq pushing 29,150. Semiconductors are the real standout, back into the $12,300s after getting hammered all week, pulling tech and the S&P up with them. Gold's holding steady in the low $4,080s too, not selling off despite the risk-on move. The real test is whether semis hold this bounce.

🚨 A UK BITCOIN TREASURY FIRM JUST VOTED TO LIQUIDATE AND SHUT DOWN!! Satsuma Technology's investors approved selling off all 668 remaining BTC, distributing the proceeds to shareholders, and ceasing operations entirely. This is the treasury-company model failing in real time, not one bad quarter, a full wind-down. The same playbook Strategy popularized, hold Bitcoin on the balance sheet as the whole thesis, just ran into a wall hard enough that shareholders chose cash over conviction.

🚩 CLARITY ACT ODDS JUST JUMPED 22% IN A DAY!! Polymarket traders now price a 53% chance the bill gets signed into law in 2026, crossing above a coin flip for the first time. This move lines up with Bessent calling it the "1-yard line" and Bitcoin rallying on the comments. A day ago this was a toss-up leaning no. Now it's a toss-up leaning yes, and the July 23rd deadline is the line that decides which side wins.

🚨 CLARITY ACT HITS ITS JULY 23RD DEADLINE AS BESSENT SAYS IT'S AT THE "1-YARD LINE"!! Bitcoin rallied on the Treasury Secretary's comments, with the bill sitting one step from the finish line. Miss this window and the next real shot doesn't come until August 7th, 2026. Months of ethics-clause gridlock come down to a single deadline now. Markets are already pricing the outcome before Congress votes. One yard from the goal line is either the easiest score of the year or the closest miss. Nothing in between.

🚨 PAVEL DUROV: TELEGRAM IS ROLLING OUT THE BIGGEST NON-CUSTODIAL WALLET LAUNCH IN HISTORY!! His words: "Instant zero-fee crypto transactions for over a billion users are about to become reality." A native, non-custodial $GRAM wallet is coming to every Telegram app this summer. Over a billion users is not a crypto-native audience testing a beta feature. It's the entire planet's most-used messaging app getting a wallet built in, no exchange, no custodian, no middleman holding the keys. This is the on-ramp crypto has been waiting for, distribution at a scale no exchange or bank could ever match.

📈 ETH SETUP: WAIT FOR THE RETEST, THEN TARGET THE BREAKOUT $ETH is pushing toward $1,972 resistance after reclaiming every major moving average, with higher lows stacking since the June bottom. Per chartist Kapoor, momentum has flipped to the bulls, but chasing this move isn't the play. A retest of $1,817 is the level to watch first. Long setup Entry: $1,817 Stop loss: $1,697 TP1: $1,972 TP2: $2,132 Worth knowing right now: ETH is trading near $1,930, up close to 9% on the week and currently the most-watched asset in crypto as retail attention piles back in. That's exactly the kind of crowded setup where a clean retest matters more than chasing the pump. If support holds and the broader market stays risk-on, this has room to run toward the next resistance zone. Chartist: @kshitizkapoor_

🚨 BIG TECH IS SITTING ON $1.65 TRILLION IN DEBT THAT DOESN'T SHOW UP ON THE BOOKS!! A Nikkei Asia investigation found Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta and Oracle are carrying an estimated $1.65 trillion in off-balance-sheet obligations, GPU contracts, data center leases and joint ventures, more than their combined $1.35 trillion in officially reported debt. Meta's hidden debt alone is confirmed at $420 billion, nearly triple what shows on its balance sheet, and Oracle's has grown 30-fold in four years to $273 billion. The reason it's legal: accounting rules don't count these obligations as debt until the data centers actually go live. The BIS flagged this exact pattern as "shadow borrowing" back in March, and Morgan Stanley and Moody's have both since raised it as a genuine risk factor. Four of these five companies report earnings within two weeks. The reported numbers will look clean. The real exposure sits in the footnotes, and it only becomes a problem the moment AI demand comes in below what's been built for.

🚨 IRAN CLAIMS IT DESTROYED AN AMAZON DATA CENTER IN BAHRAIN!! The IRGC says it hit AWS's central Bahrain infrastructure with cruise missiles, calling it retaliation for a US strike on Iran's Darkhovin nuclear site, a facility Tehran describes as civilian and still under construction. Neither Amazon nor Bahraini officials have confirmed the claim, and the US hasn't acknowledged striking Darkhovin either. In the same wave of statements, Iran also claims it destroyed a US missile defense radar system and an F-15 fighter jet inside its shelter in Jordan. It follows another round of US strikes CENTCOM confirmed carrying out under Trump's direction.

🚩🚩CRUDE JUST CROSSED $90 AS THE US-IRAN WAR SPIRALS FURTHER Brent is now up roughly 30% from its July lows, with the latest leg driven by Trump's own words: "Every time Iran kills an American soldier they will pay for that killing many times over," he posted, directing the threat at his defense secretary and joint chiefs. The US has now bombed Iran for nine straight nights. The toll is mounting on both sides. At least three US service members have died in the fighting, and Tehran's retaliation has killed seafarers and damaged tankers near Oman. Houthi militants just declared a maritime embargo on Saudi Arabia, widening the conflict beyond Iran and the US alone. Nine consecutive nights of strikes with no ceasefire in sight is not a market pricing in temporary risk anymore. It's pricing in a war that keeps finding new fronts to open.

🚨WANCHAIN CARDANO BRIDGE EXPLOITED FOR $13M! Wanchain’s Cardano bridge was hit in an exploit, with ~515 million $NIGHT drained from the treasury, valued at ~$13M pre-exploit. Initial analysis suggests a flaw in the TreasuryCheck validator, potentially allowing signature reuse attacks. Wanchain has taken the bridge offline and is investigating. $NIGHT, the native token of Cardano-incubated Midnight, plunged over 30% to record lows near $0.016.

📊 RECORD ANNUITY SALES ARE QUIETLY FUELING A CREDIT BOOM Fixed annuity sales have roughly doubled since the Fed started hiking in 2022, climbing from around $30B a quarter to peaks near $90B, and they've stayed at that elevated level ever since, tracking almost perfectly with the rise in 10-year Treasury yields. Every one of those annuity dollars needs somewhere to go, and insurers are pouring the proceeds straight into public and private credit markets. This isn't a niche insurance story, it's a massive, steady bid for credit that most investors never see. Higher rates didn't just change what savers earn. They rewired where trillions of institutional dollars flow next.

🚨📉 CONSUMER SENTIMENT IS CLAWING BACK FROM ITS WORST READING EVER RECORDED The University of Michigan's index just jumped to 54.4 in July, crushing expectations and marking back-to-back monthly gains since May's all-time low of 44.8, the single worst reading in the survey's history. But look past the bounce. Sentiment still sits 12% below where it stood a year ago, and inflation, not jobs, remains the fear keeping Americans up at night. Cheaper gas is doing the lifting here, not any real change in how people feel about their money. Climbing off the floor isn't the same as standing tall. This is relief breathing room, not a comeback
