Rounding up a million dogs into non-existent shelters isn’t a solution -it’s panic. Science has the answer: sterilise, vaccinate, release. ABC works. It reduces populations humanely, cuts rabies, and respects life. Courts should back evidence, not fear. The good news is that an earlier, more balanced SC bench had directed that stray dogs be released back into their territory after sterilisation and vaccination — so there IS precedent for the humane ABC approach within the courts themselves. #compassionforanimals

@VarierAravind Thats like telling a murderer can be sentenced to death. Your word that a dog is aggressive won't fly. You have to prove it.

Her claim that the Supreme Court has not allowed euthanasia of stray dogs is FALSE. The Supreme Court clearly states that aggressive dogs can be euthanised after assessment by a qualified veterinary expert.👇🏻

.@Manekagandhibjp said sterilisation is the only effective solution to reduce stray dog population and dog bites, while warning against relocation and misinformation around euthanasia. She also clarified that the Supreme Court has not allowed euthanasia and urged people not to spread panic. #ManekaGandhi #StrayDogs #DogBites #AnimalWelfare #Sterilisation #SupremeCourt #AnimalRights #IndiaNews #StreetDogs #PublicSafety @sardesairajdeep

@iamrakeshbansal A human court in a third world country has come to a conclusion that human life is paramount. Of course why wouldn't the judgment be fair ?

Supreme Court of India has made it clear: Human life comes first! 🐕‍🦺 In a big decision, SC said stray dogs must be removed from public places like hospitals, schools, colleges, playgrounds and other crowded areas. Key points: • Ill, aggressive and rabid dogs CAN be euthanised. • Right to live with dignity (Article 21) includes the right to move freely without fear of dog bites and attacks. • Human safety is more important than unqualified rights of stray dogs. • Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has been dragging its feet on promises made to the court. Work on shelters is slow. • Residents’ Welfare Associations (RWAs) want Delhi Government to support and monitor MCD properly. This is a strong message for public safety while balancing animal welfare. Activists have mixed reactions, but SC has stressed accountability from civic agencies. niftykaboss.com

With due respect, the Honourable Supreme Court orders are mischievous! We the cockroaches of India, demand justice for our dogs. And the Mylords should stop this game of inhumanity. May i remind the Mylords judging, us, cockroaches that — Animals also have RIGHT TO LIVE under our Constitution and you cannot leave them to be culled or keep them in uncared Centres! No new ABC centres, no shelters, no hospitals, no enforcement. The entire idea about these ABC CENTRE was IMPRACTICAL & NOT-FEASIBLE! Now even monkeys are coming down from trees and biting people. That also in Lutyens Delhi. What next? Will they cage the monkeys too? We thought that the Supreme Court would be compassionate, but it has turned out to be the very opposite!

Giribala Singh’s conduct is a disgrace to the judiciary and basic humanity. A retired MP High Court judge, now accused in a dowry death case, publicly smears her deceased pregnant daughter-in-law Twisha Sharma, calling her impulsive, drug-using, and someone who destroyed everything, while her own son Samarth, the prime accused, remains absconding. Instead of urging surrender and cooperating fully, she holds press conferences with victim-blaming and crocodile tears. As a former judge, she knows better than to defame the dead who cannot defend themselves. Her family faces serious allegations of harassment leading to Twisha’s suicide. Public sympathy? Earn it through transparency, not character assassination. She must be held accountable under the law like any citizen, no judicial privilege shields this. Surrender the son, face the SIT probe fairly. Twisha’s grieving parents, including her Army officer brother’s family, deserve justice, not dirt. This erodes trust in the system she once served. Madam ex My lord stop blaming your deceased daughter in law. At least now let her sleep in peace now forever. @DILIPtheCHERIAN @iamnarendranath @bainjal @rohini_sgh @vijaita @NidhiKulpati5 @Smita_Sharma @maryashakil @BDUTT

#WATCH | Bhopal, MP | Twisha Sharma death case | Mother-in-law of the victim and retired judge Giribala Singh says, "When she started the first course of the MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy), she said she wanted to reverse this, which I knew was not possible... She didn't let us feel that fleeting moment of joy. It is truly heartbreaking; young girls often take this drastic step... On 7th May, she must have taken the pill; she completed the entire MTP procedure, and we had to support her... I also called her mother, as she was needed there. For five months, her parents never visited... We deliberately did not call her husband; he has a very strange personality. For nearly twenty years, he has been working in the pharmaceutical industry—specifically in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, he could potentially be the source of many things... I think they were earning out of all her... But the matter is sub judice."

@oceanblue11oct The apex court is a public pleasing body and is showing clear signs of dissociation from science and logic based judgements. This is a elite and a majoritarian decision and places least regard to sanctity to other species. Article 21 is being misused here deliberately

While the rapists are given bail, they roam around freely for the next kill…it’s the dogs that should be removed. Kudos to the honourable #supremecourtofindia for a just ruling. Women - babies, young , middle aged, old , not so old will keep living in fear . Sad day for india!

#BREAKING SC ON THE STRAY DOGS CASE Supreme Court has pulled up states for failing to implement Animal Birth Control framework, calling inaction a violation of the right to life under Article 21 Key directions issued 1. At least one ABC centre per district, expansion based on population density 2. Adequate anti-rabies medicine 3. Euthanasia permitted for rabid or dangerous dogs where legally permissible NHAI has been directed separately to address stray cattle on national highways through a monitoring framework. Court: this court is constrained to observe that pronounced inaction on effective implementation of ABC framework has resulted in in aggravation of the problem. Stray dog bites continue to occur. Reports reveal that the problem has assumed deeply disturbing proportions. In the city of Sri Ganga nagar in Rajasthan alone 1084 dog bites were reported in a month. Young children suffered grievous injuries, including mauling of their faces etc according to reports. TN recorded 2 lakh odd in the first four months of the year.

Whatever she is accusing others of, she does it herself. Abusing people online, forcefully entering others houses and then beating them, posting name and numbers of women to intimidate them, giving rape threats to girls and women, lodging false cases, doing extortions and whatever you can think of. We have all the evidences of her deeds.
