@leehaber The problem with BC Place then and now is control. The waterfront plan that was bumped when BC Place got renovated was the true loss here. Although, a stadium at PNE that they controlled would have been better than the situation they are in now.

@24thminute BC Place is a much better location in terms of access and amenities.

I was there. That stadium location was stunning and I said at the time that they were nuts to go to BC Place (and was shouted down). The result was very TFC. Did get to see Terry Dunfield’s first MLS goal, though.

@nandordestroyer @_deRigueur_ That TFC lost a lot of late game points in 2011 really has no relevance to whether the goal they allowed on Saturday is going to be predictive of what happens now. The talent on this roster will decide that. So one of us is using logic to evaluate this, yes.

With all the attention the Josh Sargent drama caused, I think TFC fans were sleeping on the importance of the Dániel Sallói signing. Easy to say after the start he’s had, but…goals win games and he’s a proven commodity in this league. Also, yesterday sucked, but it’s fine.

@_deRigueur_ That goal was…pure fluke. It sucks, but it’s not predictive of anything. Also it was about 90 seconds after the game should have been over.
