I'd happily pay 2k a month for what I get out of Opus today - I can't imagine a better model, but I'd happily pay 2k for it because I'm SAVING 18k and getting more output!!

He literally said that your weekly limits remain unchanged - how is that giving less at the same price?
It's like driving on a highway - sometimes it's rush hour and you're going to travel slower than off peak, but you can still drive if you need to.

Be careful of any Codex Shill out there - they'll never take on Claude Code with Opus 4.6 - all they can do is complain about limits or cost while offering a retarded-in-comparison alternative.

It's not even the same issue, nor related.
They're bound by hardware and physical constraints - they're growing as fast as they can, but they're fundamentally limited by physical world constraints.
It has nothing to do with the rate they develop products or quality of software they ship (which is higher than most products).
