@letterbub Heaven’s Gate was a case of me liking a movie, but also agreeing with all the detractors in that it is way too long and meandering for its own good. I respect and feel sorry for Cimino, but also feel he wasn’t ready for this type of project and fell too in love with his film.

@Gilition That’s true, it’s just interesting seeing the quality of prints vary in many ways which makes the restorations even more appreciated.

@27_negative That's because for many years, prints of the pre 48's didn't have the luxury of being sourced from the negatives

@Remnicore_ Online fans are so insular in their perspective that they come across like deranged maniacs when you clearly discuss their habits to the average person.

@Gilition There’s a spectrum of prior quality. Some like A Lad only had a grey sheen over it while others like this one and A Day at The Zoo or Peck up Your Troubles had quality so poor in their available prints that new restorations make them look like completely new shorts.

@Gilition Really pristine stuff. I do find it funny though that not only do we really have more obscure stuff left to restore since this got the last big missing ones out, but that the most iconic shorts are probably stuck with decades old restorations since WB probably won’t redo them.

@letterbub Leone might be one of my personal favorites if only because all the stuff I’ve seen from him is 10/10 stuff.

@dyingscribe The Marvel hero’s going to the DC universe in that one crossover comic and being baffled at how it was much nicer both in lifestyle and in how the hero’s are treated will never not be hilarious to me.

@CyrilH44 It’s going to be the BoRap. Thoroughly mediocre, but propelled by the star power of the subject and the audience shilling. Same producer too.

@GRCinemaTicket Really liked Prey, but man did I vibe a lot with Predator 2. Can’t really complain though since this is a better franchise on average than most.

@isaiahsofyne The only valid reason to not watch them is if you’re dyslexic and struggle with reading. Otherwise, no excuse whatsoever.

There is genuine people on this earth who will look into your eyes and tell you they will never watch a film that’s not in English. For that, I hope you bitch slap them to hell for being a dumbass

@BadFilmTakes1 Look, it’s over 3 hours. I need to carve time and mentally put my mind to it when not watching a movie that long in a theater. I already spent that time this month on Heaven’s Gate and didn’t really feel it was worth it. Mike, buddy, stop meandering.
