@asimo3089 @5990Agx remove the daily xp limit and let us get as much xp as we can depending on how much we play. keep contracts but make them give double the xp and be twice as hard to complete. if you’re doing this you could add milestone rewards like level 15 and 20 with exclusive rewards

My killer likes to announce her presence .5 seconds into the match, so I don’t really care if we can see what killer it is by pressing tab

@sleepynua survivor gets chased and downed by ghostface without stalking meaning you don’t know what killer it is yet, but then you can just open a menu to see who it is and now be cautious for the rest of the game because you know it’s a stealth killer? seems fair

would it be okay if an icon only appears when the first survivor in the match gets injured? any ideas?

@VarsityGamingTV why would you opt to use a dmr with lots of recoil over an smg with extremely high firerate and no recoil?

My DMR nerf idea: - remove ACOGs on defense - give them a half speed penalty (like LMGs) - maybe 10% more recoil Thoughts?

@GEATSzilla @imkrystene @fPearspective well yeah i guess but most of the killers don’t have status effects and the only ones that have them at the beginning of the trail are the first, pinhead, and freddy. not every killer will apply the effect in their first chase either

@28xCB @imkrystene @fPearspective So what? Majority of Killers have ques that give them away easily save for the stealth Killers. And even they have clues.

Seeing what killer you are going against CANNOT go through. Survivors have to change their playstyle dependent on the killer. If you know your opponent before 1st chase then they become far easier to counter. Survivors seeing other perks is awesome though and should be added.

@imkrystene @fPearspective if you’re playing solo queue and don’t get chased first you still might not know what killer you’re against.

@KathyRaynaVR @afoxdesign rec room didn’t fail because the game wasn’t changed, it was the complete opposite. everyone says 2021 rec room was its “prime” and it didnt even have much more than it did when it launched. they started to add too many features like full body avatars and UGC. they stopped caring

I think there's two factors: proper monetization and very large scale userbase. Both are literally the biggest VR platforms, and even though RecRoom was also very big, it didn't adapt to its size in the correct way and, for the most part, kept being a product of when it came out... as in... early Oculus Rift, the original Oculus Quest and the original PSVR. When it launched and now, barring an attempt at throwing in monetization options that were kinda hamfisted into it in an odd way (mostly based on Fortnite, but that didn't work since it wasn't properly adapted for RecRoom's reality), RecRoom is the same, with pretty much the same gameplay options, with the same locomotion options, with some questionable decisions along the way (specially on what to support, they ended up taking too long to choose and supported nothing in the end, which limited them even further). Gorilla Tag is just tremendously massive and has a very unique and easy to understand locomotion that anyone can easily get into, using your arms, with very accessible (and optional) monetization, so by the power of numbers, even accessible and cheap monetization leads to very considerable and safe revenue. VRChat is just the most played VR "anything" on Steam, by a massively large margin that isn't even comparable, everything else put together doesn't match it alone. It supports the latest VR tech, it even drives VR tech (since, let's face it, lots of VR tech nowadays is designed with it in mind, with the exception of VR headsets themselves which are "experience agnostic", but everything else from tracking tech to social interactivity addons and so on, it's pretty much 90% driven by VRChat's own evolution), it has a rather solid monetization plan going on for several years now to ensure it remains funded, alongside external funds from benefactors, and it hopefully will remain going for a while and won't face many problems unless they truly fumble. Why does Rec Room fail but VRChat/Gorilla Tag succeed? Or are they struggling too? Does “free-to-play with in game-purchases” only work when you hit an insane amount of active users?

@YoungXBlackk Im a firm believer in that event offerings such as blood moon and bone chill should all be converted back into bloodpoints when the event ends or converted into escape cakes/survivor puddings, otherwise they just collect dust for the whole year
