And twice now I have rejected and booked BA instead... Want to support them but not if the timings don't work out

Aurigny seem determined to f*** up the Guernsey - London City route again, now 5 flights I've had this summer cancelled and me put on a different timed flight or moved to Gatwick which is miraculously gaining extra flights at the same time as some of the cancelled City ones

Can spot the Guernsey passengers on this BA flight a mile off, they have placed their roller cases flat in the overheads like they do on the ATRs rather than on their sides as they tell you to do on the Airbus 😂

When Heathrow Terminal 5 opened it was meant to be the flagship UK airport terminal... it is a shit hole, so much retail crammed into departures, a lot of which (the designer stores) have absolutely no one in them, narrow walkways and overcrowded

@SeanM1997 Kinda inevitable, when I was on the flight last year there were 11 passengers, been no real promotion on it and was only 3 months peak season.Shame as Aurigny had extra Edinburgh slots they didn't take up for this summer

Good to see FlyDirect and airBaltic have expanded their partnership - direct Tenerife flights from Jersey, Guernsey and IOM next winter for October half-term and Christmas - end of Feb

Been told that with the exception of the first officer, it will now be an all-Guernsey crew operating the first British Airways Heathrow - Guernsey service with the exception of the first officer (presumably there isn't a local available).

Been told my cousin (a local Guernsey lad) will be operating the first flight from Heathrow when it touches down at Guernsey Airport on 19th April... Nice touch by BA.

... Basically the Sunday Gr656/7 and GR608/9 services have been swapped around meaning there is no Southampton flight between 9:30am and 8pm but then 2 arrive within 30 minutes in the evening 🤷🤷

Aurigny have some really strange flight time changes going on for Sundays this summer. The GR608/9 rotation now arrives back from LGE 5 minutes after the GR606/607 rotation. The GR656/7 SOU has been pushed back from afternoon to evening and operates 30 minutes before the GR658/9

@ci_aviation Makes sense having her on white rather than basic Blue Islands livery until they can book her in properly for the full scheme 👍

G-ISLP is back in Guernsey today! Its former Blue Islands livery, which lasted only around 11 months, has now been removed, leaving the aircraft in an all-white scheme. #aviation #travel #guernsey #aurigny

And it’s due back in Guernsey today, apparently freshly repainted all white! It’s due in commercial service soon too. Details below: AUR73E / AT76 (G-ISLP) 1500 EXT - GCI 1540 #aviation #travel #guernsey #aurigny

One minute #Emirates is suspending flights indefinitely and then within an hour everything is back on... Considering the drone narrowly missed hitting aircraft and the terminal a little earlier this seems a bit quick.

Aurigny’s newly acquired (ex-Blue Islands) ATR 72-600 G-ISLP is set to fly to Exeter tomorrow for further works, marking its first flight since the previous carrier’s collapse last November. It’s expected to enter commercial service with the airline in late March/early April.

@Chris_True_Gurn @ci_aviation They will have wanted to ensure everything is the same setup/ systems spec as the other 5 Aurigny ATRs and make sure she is as per the agreed lease. Also while she was safe and airworthy, Blue Islands didn't have the cash to necessarily give her the gold service standard. 👍

@ci_aviation Mysterious. It was flying pax for BI, presumably safely. Aurigny takes it over and months of "works" are required.

@ci_aviation Was meant to be on the 9.35am from Southampton yesterday but offloaded myself and jumped on the ferry which turned out to be the right choice as got to Gsy at 5pm rather than 7pm. Nightmare, felt sorry for all passengers and crew as the weather was all over the place.

On Aurigny’s ATRs equipped with the ClearVision system (G-OGFC, G-OATR and G-ORAI) the minimum visibility needed is around 400m. However only 2 are in service at the moment, with G-OATR in maintenance in Dinard.

The chaos for Aurigny continues today. Persistent fog throughout the day has continued to cause issues. Two half term Grenoble ski flights were cancelled yesterday, and Titan was brought in to operate a combined service on their A320 today. However it’s delayed due to fog.
