NEWS: Florida State transfer Cam Miles has committed to UNLV, his agent CJ Ward of @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-2 guard and former four-star recruit played one season at Florida State and appeared in 25 games. Averaged 5.4PPG, 1.7APG and 1.0RPG this season.

@DennyKevish @UNLVAlumni I kinda felt that same way. We donated close to $5,000 a year and would fly from TX to NV for games etc. when I stopped and told them why, they didn’t seem to care either.

Ambitious new Pac-12 member Utah State tried to get a 25% fee hike approved that hardworking regular students are forced to pay to help subsidize its Athletics Department... The state Board of Higher Ed said nope, and called that plan "unsustainable." (via @CourtneyLTanner)

The budget will go up for sure. You have to spend money to make money. I think Harper knows that we've leveled out football and set it up for success. Now he's got to set basketball up for success as well.

Pastner admitted his mind is constantly thinking about recruiting, improving the roster, and finding ways to wake up what he believes is a sleeping giant at UNLV. “This program can be a sleeping giant.
