I am completed incensed. I have just been to an event in Keighley and a former Lord Mayor of Bradford, who is now a retired Labour Councillor previously on Bradford Council representing part of Keighley came up to me and said ‘I need to stop talking about these grooming gangs and stop making an issue of it.’ An absolutely astonishing comment to make. All this on the day after we learn that 8 British Pakistani men from Keighley have been given jail sentences of nearly 58 years for multiple rape and sexual offences against two children in Keighley back in the late 1990s. The victims were young females aged between 13 and 16 at the time. Now more than ever am I convinced we need an Inquiry into grooming gangs across Keighley and the wider Bradford District. I will not stop until the rot is hollowed out.

@WatfordFC sad to learn of the passing of the great Denis Law. Who remembers him against us at O.T. in 69 and in the replay at the Vic? I've seen many great players, even the great Ajax side of 71. But,Denis is my all time top 3 . I remember queuing for replay tickets at 8 am !!

@UnitedStandMUFC Saw him play against @WatfordFC twice in 1969,in the cup. A privilege to see such a great player. He was old school ,and was class ,on and off the pitch.I am saddened by his passing.
