We knew it would happen, and here it is. Snowbasin is closing on Sunday. I expect additional announcements of early closures in the coming days. Disappointing news, but I promise you, none of these resorts want to make these announcements.

Things actually look encouraging for active weather to return to Utah. HOWEVER, any potential action is more than 10 days away, so confidence is very low. We have a long stretch of dry, sunny weather to get through yet.

Several storms will bring significant snowfall through early April.

Today is the day! We all gather around, nervously checking the results. Unfortunately, we won't know the final tally until we wake up in the morning and check the snow stakes. Right now I'm thinking 5-10" in the Cottonwoods.
