The old tree stump room . made from the stump of a tree that came down in the garden with strong winds and still going strong . some bits are falling away but it is still a very usable and very cute little room for the mice

@2INTMD8 @SamaHoole Or maybe the dude was a doc himself? I really don't know, he did not introduce himself. He was not the doc who did the surgery, but maybe they have a different doc monitoring post-op? I don't know.

Doctor: "Your LDL is still high. I'm adding a second statin." Patient: "I'm already on one. My legs ache." Doctor: "That's a known side effect. I'll add CoQ10." Patient: "And I'm tired all the time." Doctor: "Fatigue is common. I'll add modafinil." Patient: "My memory is foggy." Doctor: "Cognitive effects can occur. Donepezil should help." Patient: "I have a cough now." Doctor: "That'll be the ACE inhibitor I prescribed last visit. We'll swap it for an ARB." Patient: "I'm not sleeping." Doctor: "Zopiclone." Patient: "Heard that's addictive." Doctor: "We'll taper you with mirtazapine when the time comes." Patient: "My blood sugar has gone up." Doctor: "Statins can do that. Metformin." Patient: "I get diarrhoea on metformin." Doctor: "Loperamide." Patient: "I've gained weight." Doctor: "Ozempic." Patient: "I feel nauseous." Doctor: "Ondansetron." Patient: "I don't want to be on twelve medications." Doctor: "Anxiety is common at this stage. I'll add sertraline." Patient: "What if I just stopped the statin?" Doctor: "Absolutely not."

@OtherSide61 @SamaHoole Please don't do this .... if you end up in the hospital, it will be part of your medicine list & they will give it to you! My last appt I once again refused statins (cholesterol had dropped but still "high" ) ok stay on low cholesterol diet Im not on one! 🤣

@SamaHoole Every doctor I see tries to put me on a statin. I just have the prescription now and don’t take it. When they ask I say I am and then they say my cholesterol is improved.

@BradCLemley @SamaHoole A nurse can't just give you those....which means a doctor added those meds to your chart "in case you need them." Crazy!

I am 71, take zero medicines and in excellent health, but had a taste of this when I had hernia surgery a month ago. Woke in the recovery room, nurse takes blood pressure. Systolic was 155. "I'll give you some blood pressure medicine." "What? Dude, chill, give me 15 minutes." I relax, take some deep breaths, second reading is 130. I start shivering - it was cold in that room. "I'll give you a medication to stop the shivering." "Dude, HOW ABOUT A BLANKET!" It was weird.

A beautiful starry night last night. First pic is looking east when I went out to give Abla her tablets, the second is south west as I was coming back to the house, where the neighbour was seeding well into the night. Pictures don’t do it justice but hopefully you get the idea 😋

To the brave Ridglan new mums/dads who have never before adopted a rescue dog: I’m a mum of an abused dog. My advice is to be patient. Abandon your expectations and focus on only building safety and trust. Consistency, structure and routines matter. Love them through it all

I got both albino squirrels in this video. Sorry, no editing. I was standing in the door way so I didn't scare them off so its wonky but OMG 😍😍😍 Also, they're now sitting on the back of the picnic table which sets them up for the perfect camera view.
