@CallissClan They're planted around wattles and sheoaks so fingers crossed!

Same age, different dog. At 108 days Abla weighed 24.4kg. Beren 26.1kg. Abla was also a lot darker in the face, ears, body & tail.

@julerin8 Patience is your friend when it comes to quandongs. I’ve found they love sheoaks but I’ve got one growing down at the creek among gum trees, too.

@CallissClan I finished planting all of the quandong seeds Shane sent me after some good rain. They'll be Abla's trees and I hope to be able to send you some jam from them one day.

@chrisval52 Beren’s very gentle with food & self regulates. Wally, on the other hand, would eat non-stop.

@CallissClan BB has a lot of the look of a Labrador in him. Our two LOVE their food. Will keep eating until they burst, if allowed.

@maryjo1313 @SymonsYahoo He does “answer back” - Abla didn’t. His bark is already fearsome at night when defending his flock; at this stage I’d say his bark is worse than his bite but that won’t last long. Abla only barked when she knew she couldn’t catch her target - we called her the silent assassin.

@SymonsYahoo He is a bit naughtier. Abla was so eager to please, you’d only have to tell her off once. Beren is more persistent. He’s also very confident indoors, climbing on the sofa & coffee table, whereas Abla wasn’t at all comfortable inside until her last 9 months.

@CallissClan How does Beren’s personality / temperament compare to Abla’s st the same age?

@CallissClan also Abla had a tight tail curl, Beren seems a bit looser, maybe just posture for this pic, but did notice the difference when Beren arrived
