Fuel card companies must be taking a real hit, I think I’ve used only one of my fuel cards since the war in Iran started, as all my local garages are slightly cheaper on the pump than my fuel card rates, which are all supposed to be cheaper. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you’re paying more than a pump price just to use a fuel a card, you’re a mug. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Due to multiple bricks being deliberately thrown at and smashing several bus windows this evening near St Bede’s School, the 5A and 5C services are suspended with immediate effect and will remain cancelled until further notice. We will never put the safety of our drivers or passengers at risk to accommodate mindless, cowardly violence. Throwing bricks at moving vehicles is not “having a laugh”—it is reckless endangerment that will one day kill or maim someone. The individuals responsible are not clever or funny; they are dangerous idiots whose actions will eventually leave them facing serious criminal charges. We will not resume these routes until we can guarantee a safe environment for everyone on board. Safety is non-negotiable. Sorry for any inconvenience.

@NathanTrout I transport their veg, transport is the same, packaging the same. Same supplier for some veg as sainsburys, lidl, Waitrose, M&S, tesco... But they may not buy as high grade and the storage once it hits their sites may differ

@modernheroestv My point was, if you start your break at 11:00 you can't then plug it in at 11:05. But you can put it on charge at 10:58 then start a break at 11:00 that's fine. But the wording on the origional post was plugging it in during your break, before or after fine, not during

@modernheroestv Nah have to agree. Having a break whilst fueling up a hgv would be a breach of driving hour regulations. So same would likely apply under all employment law. Plug it in whilst not on a break, if you can leave and dispose of your time freely whilst it is charging, go for it. But
