When delimitation of 1971 happened on the basis of population and still southern states were given more seats than their numbers. Why? Why did rest of country suffered because of this? Since then it’s on freeze for twice 25 year each. 2026 end that freeze hence the exercise. They want the very same entitlement even now. Why? Do it on the basis of the people. Each vote holds same value. This victim card must be called out

Dear people of Telugu states and Karnataka who are supporting Stalin, I have one question for you guys. South India currently has 130 seats out of 543. With the same ratio, for 816 seats there should be 195 seats for South India. Let's show so-called "South Indian unity" and let's support Stalin's stance to retain these 195 seats with South India itself. Later, let's divide these 195 seats among all the South Indian states based on the 2011 census data. Will your Stalin agree to this? Just ask him this question, his hypocrisy will come out. If he is not okay with this, what is compelling you to support him on matters related to delimitation?

• If you keep talking about 50%, why isn’t it in the law? Words mean nothing without backing
• Govt now gets to pick & choose the census, on what basis?
• The 2001 constitutional freeze is removed and replaced with nothing
• Who controls the Delimitation Commission? Who appoints them? Why is it beyond judicial review?
• Is this effectively punishing Southern states for controlling population?
• And what’s the point of debate after the Bill is already notified? Super glad that someone finally represented the South with clarity & spine! 👏
