A third offensive tackle in four years in the first round. The #Steelers continue to ignore the wide receiver position. They get a very good athlete to add to their offensive line. Picked with very little time on the clock. Do think Eagles surprised them with Makai Lemon.

@CarterCritiques So we have established they wanted Lemon, we have established they were shocked…then trying to trade back (which hasn’t been reported at all) doesn’t mean they were unprepared. Sounds like things that happen draft day. Maybe I’m wrong though 🤷♂️

Nobody said they auto drafted. I am saying they were unprepared and jumped the gun before securing the pick.
I also think them having to wait until less than a minute to make the pick shows they didn't like their current options, didn't find a trade-back partner, and had to settle.
