All commenced! Doctor of Curriculum & Instruction. The confetti party at the VSU graduate commencement was a game-changer, my oldest daughter said to me, “When I grow up, I want to get a graduate degree so I get the confetti!” ❤️

Today’s STEAM tour was a proud principal moment. I love what we’re doing to improve student achievement and to promote collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication.

These 2nd graders experienced an arts integrated lesson on the elected officials & the executive branch. They used scale & proportion to construct the White House, state house and city hall. They matched the elected official & wrote about their responsibilities. @LaBelleESLions

Arts vocabulary creates a universal language for K-5 students. Working with teachers to create visual aids for integrating arts vocabulary & strategies. Anchor charts create text-rich walls that serve as reminders for students & the teacher during instruction. @LaBelleESLions
