Just logged into Grok Imagine. Every single one of my saved favorites — gone. Wiped. Empty. This is exactly why I built GenCatalog. Thankfully, I backed everything up less than an hour ago. You don't own what lives on someone else's server. gencatalog.app

Step away from your laptop. Keep building with Codex on your phone. Codex keeps working on your computer, with your files and project context still in place. Pocket-sized access. Full Codex working state. x.com/OpenAI/status/…

OpenAI’s Sora was losing about $1 million every day, so they shut it down. Grok Imagine runs at positive gross margin for xAI. Worth noting that Imagine is generating more images & videos than everyone else combined. Real engineering > hype. xAI is doing it right. 🔥🚀

This one actually broke my brain. The speed you're shipping at is amazing, but the fact that this is a money maker? Really incredible.

@xdNiBoR The future of AI is primarily video understanding and generation, because photons are by far the highest bandwidth form of communication. These are essential tools for AGI. Worth mentioning that Imagine is positive gross margin for @xAI, not a money loser.

Love this! Everything you've been posting lately is 🔥.Built something I think you'd actually use. GenCatalog: a desktop app that captures everything you generate on Grok Imagine, Higgsfield, and Midjourney with one click. Prompts, metadata, full res, all of it. Beautiful grid browser, instant search, tags, notes. Everything stays on your machine — no cloud, no accounts, completely private. Basically the app I wished existed as I began generating at scale. Yours free, no strings. Would just love some feedback if you find it useful! If you want a free license, just DM me and I'll spin up a code for you. gencatalog.app

Your workflow — Midjourney v8 still brought to life with Grok Imagine — is the exact kind of pipeline where prompt and version management becomes painful fast. I built GenCatalog for creators juggling these tools: one-click save directly from Grok Imagine with full prompt + parameters preserved in a fast local library. Happy to send you a free lifetime license if you'd like to test it and share any feedback. No pressure. gencatalog.app

First of all--This is awesome. Second--this is exactly the kind of iterative workflow that used to leave me with a mess of lost prompts and versions. Built GenCatalog (Chrome extension + desktop app) for this: one-click save from Grok Imagine (and Midjourney/Higgsfield) with full prompt + params kept locally and searchable. Happy to send you a free lifetime license for honest feedback on how it handles your stitching/extend process. gencatalog.app

This whole video was made in Grok Imagine with 30s generations, stitched from 4 segments using Extend Frame. Base image: Midjourney v8 alpha. But with Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3 improving this fast, Grok needs to move quickly or risk becoming irrelevant. Right now, its main advantage is the quality-to-price ratio and how simple the platform is to use. But after the first 10s of animation, artifacts start creeping in: particles, pixels and a steady drop in overall clarity and sharpness.

Exactly — chaining Grok Imagine extensions like 10s + 10s + 10s to build longer scenes is where I always lost track of the original prompts and best versions. Built GenCatalog (desktop app + Chrome extension) for this exact workflow: one-click save directly from Grok Imagine with full prompt + params preserved, fast searchable local library even with thousands of files. Happy to send you a free lifetime license if you'd like to test it on your extension process and share any honest feedback. No pressure. gencatalog.app

The way you use Higgsfield Soul Cast to keep consistent characters across scenes is pro-level. That kind of iterative, high-volume work is exactly what made me lose track of prompts before. Built GenCatalog (local + one-click from Grok Imagine / Higgsfield) to keep every generation + full prompt searchable on your machine. Happy to send you a free lifetime license if you'd like to try it and let me know what works or could be better. gencatalog.app

Your point about Grok Imagine being one of the fastest ways to create is spot on — and exactly why library management becomes painful. I built GenCatalog (local desktop app + Chrome extension) to solve that: one-click save from Grok Imagine / Higgsfield with full prompt preserved and fast searchable library. As a Higgsfield ambassador, I'd love to send you a free lifetime license for honest feedback on how it fits your workflow. gencatalog.app

This is the kind of iterative workflow where I kept losing track of the original prompts and good versions. Built GenCatalog (desktop app + Chrome extension) for heavy Grok users like you: one-click save directly from Grok Imagine with full prompt + params preserved, fast searchable local library even with thousands of files. Happy to send you a free lifetime license if you'd like to test it on your extension/iteration process and share any honest feedback. No pressure! gencatalog.app

A 30-second scene created from an image (created by Grok). I animated it for 10 seconds (without a prompt) and then clicked on "Extend Video" twice. Grok decided on the animation, and I think he did a great job. Grok Imagine
