Unbelievable that this is in Borrowdale, Zimbabwe’s premier suburb, where some of the wealthiest Zimbabweans live. The inability to fix and maintain things so simple is not only a reflection of corrupt rule, which has destroyed everything, it is a sad story of incompetence, cluelessness and lack of care. How do you let a place deteriorate to this level, where it looks like you are at a rural growth point while in Borrowdale? Imagine Sandton, Mayfair, or Manhattan, or any city’s premier real estate, being reduced to this! This level of decay is a reflection of human made economic collapse that is not sparing any part of our beloved country.

@Artedeingenio Not to be overly critical, this doesn't come close to studio animation. I have also been working generative tools, so i know the grind. The video looks good! but not the same as current standard animation. Esp Studio ghibili, this is close to small animation studio standards.

My heart truly wanted her to win, but my head told me she would be defeated by Donald Trump, not because Trump is a better candidate, but because she is black and a woman. Being black alone presents a significant challenge when running against someone like Trump in America. Being both black and a woman doubles that challenge, even black Africans were mocking her for being a woman, saying America can’t be led by a woman. It reflects the persistent hurdles and biases that women, particularly women of color, face in politics and leadership roles across the world. They get token positions so that men can say, “…what about so and so?” This election was not decided on policy but on emotional gut feeling, gaslighting and people’s fears like immigration and how Black immigrants from Haiti were eating their cats in Springfield, and promises made like in 2016. Americans were promised a wall to stop Mexican illegal migration in 2016, they never got a wall. Politicians always make excuses of why they couldn’t fulfill promises. Americans have chosen their next leader, and the consequences that follow are, sadly, not theirs alone but a global burden on all four corners of the world. Whoever runs America runs the world, spare a thought for Zelensky in Ukraine. In Israel, Netanyahu is celebrating. In Africa, dictators are pleased, but Trump does not care about Africa or Africans, after all. He called it a Shithole. To be fair on Trump, Biden didn’t really care either, African was not a priority. The greatest winner is Vladimir Putin, I can’t begin to imagine how happy he is that his ally is back in the White House. What does this mean for Zimbabwe? Emmerson Mnangagwa should be pleased. When I met with British politicians in August, they mentioned they were waiting for the American election to develop a coherent policy on Zimbabwe. Currently, the British embassy is focusing primarily on business and trade, with much less emphasis on hardline politics. The British (Labour Party) nightmare has materialised with Trump on the verge of victory. Zimbabweans should not expect any tough policies on Mnangagwa and ZANUPF. I am flying to Britain today, and I wonder how many people will need consoling, but that is politics. Zimbabweans will need to stand up and fight for themselves, Trump has more pressing issues on his agenda like the Middle East, Ukraine, trade with China, and political dealings with Russia. Zimbabwe? What Zimbabwe? Britain, now outside the European Union, finds itself isolated. That is why they were waiting for the American elections, they might as well admit Zimbabwe into the Commonwealth, something that now looks more imminent than before.

BREAKING; The Zimbabwean debt clearance process is about to collapse as the European Union bosses in Brussels are throughly angry with the continued attacks against the European Union in Zimbabwe’s state media propaganda rag, the @HeraldZimbabwe Zimbabwe owes billions of dollars to various international creditors. Media sources in Brussels say that the unprovoked attacks by ZANUPF leaders have led the EU into believing that the Zimbabwean Government has no appetite for genuine reengagement with the EU and to deal with the debt clearance process. The European Union has kept the debt clearance talks on track against the political judgement of its American allies who saw no hope or desire by the Zimbabwean Government to genuinely tackle the debt clearance issue. The debt clearance process is led by former Mozambican president, Joaquim Chissano and the African Development Bank president, Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina. At the beginning of the process, Dr Adesina said that Zimbabwe will have to work on; “…freedom of speech, human rights protection, implementation of laws in line with the constitution and implementation of the Motlanthe report.” In his speech in Harare when the process started in the presence of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and former President Chissano of Mozambique, the AFDB president said that the issue of addressing the sanctions demands by America must be dealt with too. This was the first time someone high up in Africa said this publicly pushing back on ZANUPF sanctions propaganda. The fallout with the EU started post election with the senseless ZANUPF attacks against the EU because of how it spoke out against the shambolic election. My media contacts in Brussels said that this coming week is crucial for Zimbabwe as the EU is more likely to move and end the attempts to reengage with Zimbabwe unless President Mnangagwa moves to save the process. The European Union ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jobst von Kirchmann, who has been more than helpful to the Zimbabwean Government has been left with an upset headquarters in Brussels and an unhelpful ally in Zimbabwe. Sources in the diplomatic community said that he tried his best to keep Zimbabwe off the pariah list but the Zimbabwean Government has failed to help him by doing the bare minimum to keep the debt clearance process going. How President Mnangagwa reacts and deals with this crisis will determine whether it will stay alive or die this coming week. China also wanted the debt process to work because it is owed by the Zimbabwean Government. The collapse will mean that Zimbabwe might end up defaulting on all its loans and will not be able to borrow new funds and the economy will further crumble. Americans will feel vindicated if the process collapses, Africans who were working on it will feel betrayed by the Zimbabwean Government, and the EU ambassador will at least say that he tried, but it wasn’t good enough.
