@zerohedge Yeah, this is not cool. If they actually surveyed their constituents, they would discover overwhelming support in favor. So far, roughly 90% of retail shareholders who have voted have voted in favor of both resolutions. The public sentiment is unequivocally supportive.

Float outstanding - 2.7 billion shares
Retail owns 45% or 1.246 billion shares
Retail shares voted “for” = 1.21 billion shares (90% of the 1.24 billion)
Shares left to vote = 1.5 billion minus Elon’s shares of 412 million shares (he can’t vote) = 1.1 billion available to vote
Elon and $tsla need 50.1% of the vote.
The top 10 institutions own 776 million shares. That’s about 70% of the 1.1 billion left. That means that in order to get another 5.1% to pass the pay package, we only need 56,100,000 more votes. That’s only 7% more of the votes from the top 10 shareholding groups. We know Ron Barron has about 25,000,000 votes so that brings it down to just 25,000,000 votes of the 776 million needed.

NEWS: Norway's $1.7 trillion sovereign wealth fund said today it will vote against ratifying @elonmusk's pay package. The fund owns ~1% of all Tesla shares. They voted against the package in 2018 as well. The fund said: “We appreciate the significant value generated under Mr. Musk’s leadership since the grant date in 2018."
