Sadly heard today that @Zietys passed away this weekend. Met him through an Org we were both apart of for a short amount of time. Remember being in a Call til 6 am bsing all the time talking about cod and sports which he was passionate about. Love you buddy and Rest in Peace.<3

If I had to pick a GM and coach right now I’d see if I could get Sunny Mehta out of Florida and David Carle from U of Denver. Carle has a natty and b2b world junior golds. Mehta is a progressive type who’s spent the last 3 years in the most successful front office in the league

I’m on the fence with Maccelli. If you get a solid offer you look at it but I’d be intrigued to see him with another coach who’s more possession-focused. Still young and I’m sure you could work around the $4.11M QO to get him a little lower with more term.

You know what the hockey world needs? Summit series. Canada vs. USA. Seven games. NHL rules. Yanks won the Olympics so they'd get home ice advantage. OT would be five-on-five, just like the playoffs. It would be the greatest thing we've ever seen.
