I have to keep reminding myself that a lot of these players won the league last season. Watching last night, you could easily make the argument they all need replacing. This is the best LFC side I've ever seen. No-one currently is fit to clean their boots after the game.

Kerkez is young & I'm still hopeful he'll grow into a Liverpool player. But this was diabolical. Nobody wants to get in people's faces anymore.

Felt like Arne Slot was begging a bit there for Anfield not to turn on him next week. He knows the score. So does everyone else (except maybe the owners). It's just too far gone now.

The biggest mystery in modern football is how are Liverpool FC still in the top 5?

I've never known a transfer window promise so much & deliver so little. We're worse everywhere across the pitch.

I saw Arne Slot wishing Emery good luck for the final there at the end. He's a decent man. But you can't ignore what we've seen all season. I wish it was different, but he hasn't been able to find an answer to obvious problems. It's time for a new voice.

Marma is not the man to replace Alisson. He's not a keeper to win you 10 or 15 points a season.

We were ok for a while there but it's all very going through the motions. How many chances did we create, even when we were on top? I'm not convinced it would be any different with isak or ekitike on the pitch either. Just look a meh side.

Brighton could quite easily beat a Leeds & Man Utd that are already on their holidays. And I don't have complete faith in us not losing to anyone. It's not as done as everyone thinks. Need to wake up.

Always good to see Rio get another chance to shine, but I do worry where the goals are coming from in this side. Hopefully, they prove me wrong.

We've had a season now. Where do you think Florian Wirtz is best suited in our usual 4 3 3? Or what formation do you think we'd need to get the best out of such an expensive asset next year?

@KafkaDarren You're right. Might get a bit for Elliott & Jones etc. But to be honest, I'd rather keep them to plump up the squad. Hopefully, the club still has some cash as we need 4 or 5 starters.

@30YearsRed Im more worried that the club won’t get the signings required. Theres no squad players to fire sale this summer. Players like Robbo, Salah leaving in a free. Won’t get much for Alisson either. Are they really going to spend as much as last summer without recouping it?

Well, unless they've really set him up for a fall, seems pretty categorically certain that Slot is manager next season. It's a gamble. This summer is huge & we have to get it right. If not, it's so easy to drift away from challenging at the top.

@donthereddragon I just meant he's obviously been told he's staying judging by today's press conference. Be a bit brutal if they let him say all that then sack him a week later. Though, you never know in football.

@30YearsRed What do you mean by fall, what is the priority for the owners, is it winning trophies or finishing in ucl places?

If we get our signings right & have a strong, balanced squad, do you believe Arne Slot can challenge for top honours next season?
