🚨FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE🚨 Port Angeles, WA — March 2026 — Local Author Releases Powerful Biography Rooted in Olympic Peninsula Family Legacy Port Angeles author Chandra Campbell announces the publication of her debut book, Forgiveness Found in Darkness: Ruth Krook – A Life Redeemed (Hibriten Press, 2026). This deeply moving biography tells the true story of Campbell’s great-grandmother, Ruth Krook—a woman born blind and hearing-impaired, abandoned as a toddler in Denver, Colorado, yet guided by unwavering faith through a lifetime of darkness. Ruth’s remarkable journey took her from the Denver Orphans’ Home and the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind to Crescent City, California, and eventually to Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula. Much of Ruth’s life took place in Washington State, where she raised children and navigated the realities faced by many women of her time—often in silence. Campbell, who now lives on the Olympic Peninsula, spent years researching and reconstructing Ruth’s life through personal writings, historical records, and family interviews. “This book began as a promise,” Campbell said. “My great-grandmother wrote a short memoir later in life, hoping her story would one day be shared. I didn’t realize how much of her story had never been told—or how much it would change me to uncover it.” The book also sheds light on lesser-known aspects of regional and national history, including orphan care systems, early disability education, and the lived experiences of women navigating poverty and abuse in the early 1900s. Campbell hopes the story resonates with readers across the Peninsula, particularly those interested in local history, faith, and stories of resilience. “Ruth never saw herself as a victim,” Campbell said. “Even in literal darkness, she found light through faith, forgiveness, and love. This book is for anyone who has ever felt unseen or unloved—it’s proof that you were never alone.” Forgiveness Found in Darkness includes never-before-published family photos, Ruth’s original writings, and a message of hope that resonates deeply with readers on the Olympic Peninsula.

Life is generally tough because the whole purpose of life is to raise our level of vibration. And we cannot raise our vibration WITHOUT facing difficulties and challenges (aka - life is tough). Your vibration rises when you successfully navigate and pass these tests. This is exactly why life feels difficult. So when you feel challenged, become mindful and SMILE. You are right about to pass a test, and all it takes is to have faith, choose love and take action courageously. It does become easier once you complete the majority of your tests, but the challenges never disappear entirely until you cross over. Even Great Masters were still tested - just think of Jesus on the cross or Moses standing before the Red Sea. #christ

@GenXChristian33 @ImBreckWorsham @POTUS Mine is 24yo. He’s not going to go fight for our corrupt governments, money laundering scheme wars. He would be drafted over my dead body, i’d rather be killed by my corrupt government, then be forced to go murder people in other countries in what they so call “war”.

Dear @POTUS, I have 2 sons. You will have to shoot through me to get to them if you try to draft them to fight in Israel's war. You may take me down, but I'm going down firing back. Go fuck yourself. 🖕

@33chandra33 and when you do your best not to judge and feel judged and are judged anyway you fall back into the judgement spiral. The important thing is to get back to that point and keep becoming a better judge of non-judgement each time. 🧑‍⚖️

A judgmental person will always feel judged, and when you feel judged by others, you are also judging.
