Caregiving can be very isolating but connecting w/somebody does not have to be hard. Invite someone over for ice cream on a hot day, coffee & a chat, or to work on a jigsaw puzzle with you. Take the first step. You never know where it may lead. #caregiving

The evenings are getting a little warmer so you might want to step outside to enjoy a sunset or watch the stars. Bring your loved one out or wait until they are safe in bed and take some time for yourself.

Caregivers go to so many appointments with their loved one that adding one more appointment for themselves seems impossible. Even if you have to take your loved one with you, make that appointment for yourself. You are important too.

Spring cleaning can be overwhelming! Start small - maybe a drawer instead of a whole room. Even tackle a drawer a day instead of a whole dresser. Do what works for you and your energy level.
