Does anybody really believe these changes to negative gearing are ‘social policy’? It’s about saving govt money. Change is needed but don’t put lipstick on the pig.

@3AWNeilMitchell You questioned why the change was happening now, and why it didn't happen years ago. My point is it's clearly been on the cards for at least 6 years, + there's good reasons for switching focus to a generation which has been deprioritised in favour of older voters for a long time
