@repkord @jakkuh_t @Prusa3D That’s interesting and agreeable. I find it fun to tear down and rebuild a mk2 and mk3 but I would do that for a CoreOne. Dunno why.

A few months back @jakkuh_t told me he thought the CoreOne build isn't as fun as other @Prusa3D builds. I've spent a while thinking about this. What makes a machine build FUN? The challenge? The engineering /gaining understanding of how it works? The Haribo? Highly subjective. Having built 14 of them now I've gotten pretty good at it but I still don't know if I'd say it's FUN. Rewarding yes, valuable yes. Fun?🤔

What should be the DEFAULT infill in slicers?

@garnikis You got it covered! Everyone has their formula. But that formula should not have grid infill.

@3DInPhil Gyroid for PETG. Adaptive cubic for PLA and ABS.

@Ancaphomo Living on the edge! I don’t often go under 10% unless I m runnning low on the filament and not sure if it’ll finish 🤣

@3DInPhil I use 8% gyroid as a default and increase it as needed

Using grid infill is like using “password” as your password.

@Ratonisko For beginners that’s the way to go. But grid should NOT be default. Ever.

@3DInPhil For beginners just let them select between fast (cubic) or gyroid (strong).. no need to overwhelm them with 50 options

Niche umbrella input requested! ☂️ I always carry a travel umbrella with me on my backpack, but this one flipped inside out and is totally shot. Is there a “Buy it for life” travel umbrella that you recommend? I buy a new one once a year or so; maybe that’s just the best bet?

@AndrewASink I have a “ultra light” mini umbrella that fits in a jacket pocket and it’s been through hell that I bought in Japan. So small I don’t know where I put it right now though.
