Just finished another great stream. I didn't do much tonight but this was the progress on the model in first minute and after an hour and 20 min :) #zbrush #twitchstreamer

Following @SimoneGiertz since she wanted to become an astronaut, and still follow all her adventures. When the everyday calendar released i wanted it but i wasn't financial able to. Now with my company growing i finally had the change. Amazing product!

Been a while that i have done a fun project. So time to max out the build plate of the Prusa Core ONE. Vecna model from @wekster2507 This will in the end have leds and a custom base added. #StrangersThings5 #prusa #project #3dprinting

@loyalmoses My printer farm is powered by solar power. The printers are just business costs and written off in 5 years. I just ask what is reasonable for the market. So far working just fine.

“Don’t forget that $0.11 cents for power on that $25 3D print at the farmers market.” Overheard costs are a part of every business… if that $0.11 is the difference between success and failure at a farmers market… it’s already over. My point, 3D printing nerds selling two dozen prints, but spreadsheeting like they’re turning 10 million units. HUGE EYE ROLL! 🙄 Quoting myself: “they’re just playing business”.

So much bad business advice in 3D printing… Every time I hear someone factor power consumption and maintenance into print costs, my eyes roll back like a great white shark. 🙄🦈 That’s not business, that’s playing business. If your margins are that fragile, you don’t have a business. No woodworking or welding shop is quoting you electricity + grinder wear. 🤦‍♂️ I even heard someone compare printer maintenance to healthcare and call their machines “employees.” 😳 3D printing is NOT a unicorn industry. Manufacturing models already exist… misfit, micro, or otherwise. 💥 What’s the worst business advice you’ve heard in 3D printing? I don’t think it can get worse than the healthcare bit. 👀

August 2, 2019 my daughter and me build a Prusa Mk3s, now 6 years later we build a Prusa core one. Even my son helped out (eating the haribo's) Love the core so far. We both learned lot of new stuff and understanding core xy mechanics #prusa #3DPrinting @josefprusa @Prusa3D

@wekster2507 @TheZuza @arduino We had fun fixing the code and adding some smoothing to the movements. Went from drunk mode to sober mode 🤣

@TheZuza @arduino I just started with it so I'm a total noob. I did some basic coding but quickly got stuck because I didn't know how to make both servos for eyelids to move at the same time. @3DMonkeyNL came to the rescue :) Tonight I will see can I use Bottango for this project.

And now... something different from me :) for the past few days I decided to learn some @arduino basics and make my own eye mechanism for some future projects. This is ofc inspired by the awesome work of Will Cogley! #3dprinting #animatronics

Trying out some new colors to add to my inventory, muted red and navy blue from @Polymaker_3D used white marble for the letters. Also have an idea for a new color, vanilla icecream yellow with the marble spots. That would be an insta buy.

Found this little guy buried behind a bin in the print farm. He's clearly had a lot of time to grow and evolve. Another year or two back there and he may have formed eyes and legs. What should I name him?
