Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The U.S. Army has launched an investigation into why several AH-64 “Apache” Attack Helicopters with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade were filmed circling and hovering outside the Nashville home of musician Robert Ritchie, known more commonly as Kid Rock, and flying low near protesters at a No Kings Rally in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday, while the helicopters were supposed to be on a training flight, according to the Washington Post. “Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations,” said Maj. Montrell Russell, a Spokesman for the U.S. Army. “An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements.
