Y3 have had a great afternoon starting our wool weaving. We started last week with sketching our weaving technique and paper weaving to get the motion. This week we started our final project. Look at how amazing we have done today 😀 @PrimaryWynndale

We have had a fantastic time at Jingle Jog this afternoon at Sherwood Pines with @MansfieldSGO! Thanks for the Santa hats too 🎅😃 @PrimaryWynndale

Children need to be in school uniform as usual tomorrow (Jingle Jog).They'll get changed into PE kits at school.If you wish for your child to have joggers, a hoodie and/or trainers instead of plimsolls, please send these with your child in the morning.Please pass the message on!

We've loved coming into school wearing odd socks for #AntiBullyingWeek #OddSocksDay @andyoddsock . We've enjoyed looking at everyone's odd socks & celebrating what we like about them. We spoke about being able to celebrate different people too. @PrimaryWynndale @HbhmW

What a fab afternoon being judge historians. We've had to decide, using evidence, what Stonehenge was built and used for in the Stone Age. We then discussed how they might have built it. Finally, had a 15 minute challenge of being architects building Stonehenge. @PrimaryWynndale

What a fantastic day celebrating and raising awareness of children's mental health for #HelloYellow and @YoungMindsUK! We have loved wearing yellow clothes and having our own special wristbands telling us how amazing, fantastic and fabulous we all are 😃 @PrimaryWynndale

WOW what a week we've had in Y3! We've managed to conquer the column method in Maths, writing our own versions of Carol Ann Duffy's The Lost Happy Endings!! We've linked our learning in Novel Study, Art and History with Cave Paintings. Well done Year 3 😃⭐️ @PrimaryWynndale

Y3 have moved away from using concrete objects in maths (Base10) and are now working on pictorial representations (drawing Base10). Next stop...Column Method. We've got this 😁💪⭐️ @PrimaryWynndale

Y3 have really enjoyed going on the new computers in school this afternoon...and they finally all worked. We have learnt how to log on to a computer and know that our passwords are private. We have then logged onto Prodigy and been playing a maths game. @PrimaryWynndale

We are loving STAR reading around our campfire,every afternoon. We have just finished reading this book by Terry Deary (@TheSlimyStuarts) and we have loved it ❤️ I wonder what our new book will be next week? @PrimaryWynndale

We have loved being historian detectives today. We had some Stone Age poo that we had to look at, using tweezers and magnifying glasses. We had to find evidence of things inside the poo to show what the Stone Age people might have eaten. 💩 @PrimaryWynndale

Y6 parents, you should be so proud of your child tonight. They went through SATs week with focus, determination and a real desire to show just how far they have come on their learning journey this year. Even better, they did it all with a smile. All were stars 🌟@PrimaryWynndale

We have enjoyed growing our own cress to enjoy in our sandwiches. We had the choice of ham, chicken or cheese. Everyone tried the cress and most of us enjoyed it 😀👍🌱🥪 @PrimaryWynndale
