@snap1916 @TomJackmanWP I once accidentally sucked up an eel pot in my boat propeller leaving me dead in the water. Then I heard the live fire warning siren😳. Fortunately a Navy patrol boat saw me and halted the testing. And, my mom retired from the White Oak division of the NSWC.

Breaking: The Navy has been testing weapons at a little-known site on the Potomac for 105 yrs, launching 4700 projectiles per year into the water. Two environmental groups sued the Navy today, demanding they comply with the Clear Water Act: washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/…

@FairfaxCountyPD @VSPPIO I created Road Shark in 1998 as a regional approach to aggressive driving. It included PSA’s, community education, regional enforcement and statistics proved it reduced crashes. Kudos @FairfaxCountyPD & @VSPPIO @washingtonpost published an editorial cartoon as well back then.
