@Henny1876926 @andrew_wojcik A lot of EYBL coaches used to coach in college or at high levels. Some coaches from overseas have coached EYBL. Technically, they’re eybl coaches, but they’ve coached elsewhere

@katsuxbt Ya I dunno what to tell you dude. Michael Jordan has a real agent. His name is David Falk. He’s an actual attorney and knows what he is doing. Selling jerseys out of your trunk is one way to go. Congrats on your success but this was a mistake by LeBron on every level.

Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul says a $35 cheaper flight is the reason he met LeBron James and built a billion-dollar agency "Before he left his house, he saw a Fabolous video and Fabolous had the jersey on. So when he got to the airport and I'm coming to the gate, I had the same jersey on. And he's like, Yo, where'd you get that jersey from?" "Now think about all the jerseys I actually had and me deciding to wear that jersey. Us going to the same airport. I'm from Cleveland. I shouldn't even be flying out of Akron-Canton, Delta flies out of Cleveland Hopkins every hour" "I'm driving 45 minutes past the airport in my own city to fly out of another airport for a $35 cheaper flight. Really makes no sense. But that's fate"

@3Therealone @StephenGHoops The wide-body, strength-based defensive strategy (either with Cam or Morez) makes sense (while also having a mountain at center with plus length). It’s a get a lot of hits on the QB/RB approach. Constantly battle for position. Tire him out.

So I've tried biting my tongue on this for a bit... How does moving off of Chet Holmgren for Cameron Boozer solve the Victor Wembanyama problem? This may help my evaluation of Cam.

@OranjeGuerrero I see an argument for a second engine. But if you lose Chet's defense for Cam, I don't know how that helps.

Nets made Claxton a “lobs and dunks” center. Can the Nets correct that mistake? If you draft a big center that scores, can you in this late juncture turn Nic into the role Jaden Daniel’s plays for Minny?
Pod Thorn@PodThorn

@divinicci If someone wanted Clax he’d be gone. Only way to save Claxton is to move him to SF/PF. Can Clax play the Jaden McDaniels role?

Nets fans are trying to draft the next Scoot Henderson. Size matters in a big NBA.

Let me get this straight, Cameron Boozer is the youngest of the top 4. Had the best impact metrics. Performed better than Caleb & AJ in the agility drills. Has an NBA ready body with zero true weakness in his game. Why shouldn’t he be the #1 pick?

@BillyReinhardt So you want a wing because he has higher trade value? Draft the best player man

Billy Reinhardt@BillyReinhardt·
Unless a player hits the top 1% outcome of one-way scoring guards, we’ve seen what really good fringe All-Star type one-way guards like Trae Young, Ja Morant, and De’Aaron Fox are worth on the market. This is a league where wing inflation is at an all-time high. Look at Mikal Bridges, Desmond Bane, OG Anunoby etc. Why use a premium asset on a one-way scoring guard when the pathway to that player having value is so much more narrow than the pathway for a two-way player with more size to garner value?
Billy Reinhardt@BillyReinhardt

The entire conversation around the pick at 6 for the Nets and Darius Acuff Jr. especially revolves around the changing landscape of the NBA. The NBA has become like the NFL. One way scoring guards are like RBs. Positional value isn’t there even if they’re individually the most skilled. Darius Acuff Jr. is the best individual talent after the big four but the league values two-way wings/bigs like the trenches in football.

@nickbateman33 Trae Young failed everywhere he's been and will be a target on defense his entire life. I doubt you can win anything with Trae Young as your main guy

FWIW: Trae Young measured 6’1.75 with a 6’3 wingspan and weighed 176 pounds Kyrie 6’2 with a 6’4 wingspan 190 pounds Kingston is fine. Doesn’t affect his draft stock at all imo
Jonathan Givony@DraftExpress

Houston's Kingston Flemings measured 6'2.5 barefoot and 183 pounds at the NBA Draft Combine, with a 6'3.5 wingspan and 8'2.5 standing reach Flemings has grown and filled out over the past two years, but does not have great dimensions for an NBA guard by any means.

@JustOpp 6’5 with 6’6 wingspan. Not a + athlete or offensive engine. Not sure how we pick him over Acuff
