@KVanValkenburg Agreed. I’m not there in person but on TV it looks like he can’t control the window his wedges are coming out of. Using 11 as an example, it looked like it came out low & w/ the draw shape he has, that’s the difference b/n catching that back bowl and hopping into the back fringe.

@3__putt__par The irons, particularly wedges, have become a real issue. The subtleties and artistry of the game keeps drifting further away. I'm not sure 3D printing your own irons is a helpful strategy at this point.

Onto golf’s longest day

@acaseofthegolf1 In the 5 for 1 playoff at the qualifier for the 24 MidAm I stuffed one to like 14 ft. No one else inside 25 ft & Connor hooped one from ab 30 ft to get the spot once I left mine on the front lip. He’s been on the rise since that MidAm. Terra Cotta win a few wks ago was impressive

Connor Doyal didn't play college golf, in fact after a good night school career he was burned out and rarely played at all in college until covid. Since then his game has gotten better and he is well known in th mid-am circuit, getting to Quarters of the mid-am in 2025. And what does he do with his engineering degree from Auburn? He caddies full-time at Kiawah Island. Connor Doyal is tied for the lead at the Myrtle Beach Monday Q.

Rough guess, Kyle has sent 5000 posts in 4 years LIV related. What's the path forward for him and his ilk? The sport becomes infinitely less interesting with no competitive league to the Tour. There's billions less infused to the sport, just disappearing back under a mattress in the middle east. Do these media outlets think it won't impact them negatively? They've thrived on LIV hate. Benefited from LIV money. Now celebrate. It baffles me.
