Starting the afternoon sessions we had Armindo Salvador, presenting the advantages of being a member of the Portuguese Biophysics Society.

In the second session of the @3dBioinfoPT meeting we had Carla Sousa, Tomas Silva, Pedro Rosado, Rodrigo Barriga and Tatiana Vieira presenting their amazing works.

The fifth presentation of the day was done by Rita Teixeira. She focused on the impact of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant on the interaction with human ACE2.

The four presentation of the day came from Marta Batista. She presented her master thesis work focused on targeting PfAQP to develop new antimalarial therapeutic agents.

The third presentation of the day was done by Israa Aljnadi. She talked about the identification and synthesis of indoloisoquinoline derivatives to stabilize G-quadruplexes.

The second presentation of the day was done by Gabriel Martins. He presented his work, focused on the study of polyphenols as protein aggregation inhibitors.

The first presentation of the day was done by Carlos Shiraishi. He talked about the preliminary results obtained in his PhD project focused on the identification of natural compounds targeting COX-2 protein

Just before the afternoon coffee break, Pedro Suzano presented us his work "An US-CpHMD protocol to calculate pH-dependent membrane permeability coefficients of antitumor drugs". #EJIBCE21

In the second talk of the afternoon, Beatriz Büschbell presented to us "DRD2 homo-dimers - a world of possibilities". #EJIBCE21

After lunch, @bvictor13 talked to us about "Identification of membrane Pan-Assay INterference CompoundS (PAINS) using an atomistic Molecular Dynamics protocol". #EJIBCE21
