Update time: I’m joining @3miLabs as the Head of Growth! 3MI Labs is a leading research group that partners with teams working on the frontiers of cryptography and distributed systems. With deep expertise across post-quantum, privacy, ZK/MPC/FHE, consensus, and algorithms, I’m excited to be joining this team of world-class computer scientists with a track record of delivering tangible real world results. My focus will be connecting teams with research questions across these topics (+more) with our team of experts. After nearly two years at @alignedlayer I’m happy to be transitioning to this new role within the @ergodicgroup. I owe a huge thanks to @fede_intern and @rj_aligned for the opportunity to work on Aligned and to learn so much about Ethereum and ZK. I’m also really glad I’ll still get to work with my brilliant colleagues in some capacity (3MI is currently co-designing a new zkVM with Aligned 👀) I’m hitting the ground running and looking forward to catching up with old friends (and meeting new ones!) next week at EthCC. Coinbase just gave agents wallets. But wallets don't solve the real problem. AI agents will execute millions of micro-actions per day. No blockchain, no matter how fast, can handle a separate on-chain transaction for every single one. We built @0x4Mica. Agents transact instantly with cryptographic guarantees, and settlement happens later in batches. Thousands of micro-payments, one on-chain transaction. In this demo, I'm streaming a video, and each data chunk is paid for in real-time. Watch what happens when I switch from 4Mica credit to raw on-chain payments, and then ask to be switched back. Same stream. Same operator. Completely different experience.

x402 experts: we're examining integration of this into venice. From our research, x402 doesn't support any billing mechanism where we don't know the charge amount upfront. So for LLMs (where we don't know the fee until the end), the user would pay an amount in x402, and they'd have to overpay and then we could either refund them the balance after we know the amount, or we could store the balance on their account. Is this actually the case? Does x402 not enable streaming pay-as-you-go payments? @BaseHubHB @base
