Auburn complained very loudly about missing the NCAA Tournament. I didn’t agree with lots of the arguments made on their behalf, but they went and won the NIT Winning is a much better way to make a point than taking your ball and going home like Notre Dame football did this year

@pcmancini @PGATOUR @THEPLAYERS @RickieFowler Yes I am a fan of Rickie for multiple reasons, and I definitely think he is capable of winning on the PGA tour still. Hope MK notices you on those giveaways or Jalen Hurts keeps getting pushed in the end zone for you.

@pcmancini @PGATOUR @THEPLAYERS @RickieFowler People fawn over him because he’s a great person, has been and will continue to be a great ambassador of the game. He is playing some good golf and trending up, been on the front page of the leaderboard several times this season and only getting better.

@TrueBlueBYU1984 @InsideOKST Other than you saying “per capita” what does population have to do with this? Since when is a team good or bad based on population of the city/state it’s in?

@InsideOKST LMAO, Texas is the 2nd most populated state but not in the top 5… Utah is the 30th most populated state, so it’s not even comparable

@Not_Thugger @jaromjordan We were thrilled about playing Oklahoma State but we just don’t like bigots. I don’t care what you say about the school in the heat of a game but to demean any religion, race or gender is going too far.

A few thoughts. The religion has a name. Please use it. OSU’s apology says chant. It was chants, plural. Who gets the 50k? How is it used? And this likely doesn’t slow down or stop until there’s an in-game on-court consequence.

@carbonmfg @AlldayOstate Should the word Morman have been used, probably not. But it was to make the connection, like almost everyone does, that BYU fans and the school are associated to the Morman faith. It wasn’t to degrade or insult, but to say the ref favored BYU with a few calls down the stretch

@AlldayOstate Nobody thinks that everyone said it. The problem is that some people said it. It would be over, except people arguing that it was "Refs a Mormon" and that injects religion into sports banter and can be considered bigoted. Just leave the word Mormon out and it's all good.

This definitely isn’t going away so I guess we’ll do another episode on it. Because REGARDLESS of investigation outcome there certainly should be some public apologies! Insinuating our entire student section saying F instead of just a random few ppl is beyond ridiculous!
Cole Converse@c3trips

Oklahoma State University deserves an apology from Brigham Young University for the accusation claiming the Cowboy students chanted "F the Mormons." The video evidence is clear the crowd says either "Refs a Mormon" or "Refs are Mormon."

@joe_mussatto To step away from this situation for a second, I’m I the only one who remembers beating ISU last year who was also inside the top 20? To say the biggest win in years is weird

Kudos to the OSU students who chanted "F--- the Mormons" for not only being idiots, but also distracting from the program's biggest win in years. By the way, the atmosphere at GIA was great tonight in part because of all the BYU fans who showed up. oklahoman.com/story/sports/c…

@byucougarcorner @The_OrangeBlack @PaulMountaineer There was a few calls late in the game, when this did occur, that BYU got some favorable calls. They also had some bad ones, the refs on a whole in the big 12 are bad. But there was no ill intent in the chant, just that for those few calls they favored BYU

@The_OrangeBlack @PaulMountaineer Although question on the refs a mormon? Why was that the chant? OSU lead FTs and had less fouls the entire game. Was the implication BYU was getting favorable whistles? Because that might be crazier than "F the Mormons" haha

Man. I've gotten to know a lot of BYU and Oklahoma State peeps over the past year. I love BOTH of your fan bases. But to my Oklahoma State pals, the F the Mormons chants can't be happening. If you know folks who are doing that- please try and get through to them! BYU and other Mormon folks i've met in person and online over the past year have been THE BEST man. I know Oklahoma State people as a whole don't support this. But stuff like this has to be CALLED OUT and made public. Some will call people "too sensitive" but when your core beliefs are castigated everywhere you go... that has an impact!

@Tommando33 @NUCLRGOLF Sure he had the option, but at the time it was told to the entire tour they wouldn’t be able to return. Now that’s not the case. So many players missed out on a lot of money to stay loyal to the tour and now that doesn’t matter. Their loyalty was punished not rewarded.

🚨🗣️⛳️ #SOUNDING OFF — Safe to say that Wyndham Clark is NOT thrilled that Brooks Koepka is back: “If you would have told me that I could have gone for a year and a half, make a boatload of money and then be able to come back and play on the PGA Tour, I think almost everyone would have done that.” (Via @SiriusXMPGATOUR) Do you agree with Wyndham?
